Writing a Teaching Philosophy Statement

Unfamiliar with writing a teaching philosophy statement? Why do teaching philosophies matter? Instructors Denise Leonard from Washington University in St. Louis and Sarah Hokanson from Boston University will have a Teaching Philosophy Statement workshop in December, through the CIRTL moodle. In this workshop, we will be attending the CIRTL network workshop, so this will count towards a learning community attendance and a online network attendance. Moreover, after attending this Learning Community workshop, you will be able to write you own teaching philosophy statement for associate certification.

Dates: Thursday December 1st and Thursday December 15th
Times: 2:30-4:00PM

If you are interested in attending this event, it is encouraged to register for the event on the CIRTL website. Registration for the event runs through November 8th to November 21st. If you are not registered for the CIRTL commons page, you can register here.
