This week CIRTL-UTA will host one Learning Community meeting that is concurrent with the CIRTL live Network event. We invite all the graduate students and Postdoctoral Researchers to join our event. Registration required. Light refreshment will be served.

Program Summary: Writing teaching philosophy statement is one of the common requirements for faculty position applications. A well developed teaching statement conveys a professional image of your teaching. In this two part workshop you will be drafting your own teaching philosophy statement following specific guidelines from faculty mentors who served on hiring committee for several years. You will also receive feedback from your peers. All post-docs and graduate students are invited to join this workshop.

Draft a peer-reviewed teaching philosophy statement that reflects your teaching beliefs and experiences in this two-part workshop.
